Colin Hunter
Born and raised in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Colin attended Memorial University before obtaining his Master’s of Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University. Colin has an extensive background in athletics, having played a wide variety of team sports at a competitive level before transitioning to athletics. His recent interests include road running and triathlon.
Colin is passionate about client-centered care and exercise-based rehabilitation. He uses his educational, professional, and personal experience in sports and performance to inform his practice. In addition to athletic rehabilitation, Colin has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including post-surgical care, long-term care, and chronic pain management.
Regardless of client background, Colin strongly believes in individualized care. He strives to work collaboratively with patients and empower them throughout the rehabilitation process to help them achieve their personal goals. Colin tailors techniques such as exercise, manual therapy, and education to provide pain relief and improve function.
